Piemonte wine is the range of Italian wines made in the province of Piedmont in the north-western corner of Italy and the best known wines include Barolo, Barbera and Barberesco.
The Piedmont region is home to 42 Denominazione di origine controllata (DOC) and 16 Denominazione di Origine Controllata e Garantita (DOCG)
